With just 500 metres to the nearest beach, Lake Zell is only a stone's throw away. For the quickest way of getting to the old town centre of Zell am See, with its charming boutiques, restaurants, and bars, just bike along the lakeside promenade. 
The Schmittenhöhe is Zell's local mountain and a hiker's paradise. But there is also plenty of action on the agenda - especially for the youngest. Use the AreitXpress to take you to dizzy heights in just a few minutes. It only takes a short journey by car or ski bus ride to reach this mountain railway.

You can reach the Zell ski resort by AreitXpress, just a few minutes by car from your holiday home. Enjoy a real glacier experience on the Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun long before the winter season starts – so, fun on the piste is always guaranteed.
If you want to enjoy even more fun on the piste, then you best try the downhill run from Zell am See to the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn. All these kilometres of pistes can of course hardly be covered on just one skiing holiday. After all, there is so much more to do: ice skating, tobogganing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, visiting Christmas markets and much more.
