Dogs must be on a lead in the entire terrain. Day of arrival for week bookings is Sunday; departure is possible daily during the off-peak season (see calendar).

Welcome to your hut holiday with unforgettable mountain panorama.
Here in Saalfelden, in around 1,300 m, you enjoy an unobstructed view to the massive peaks of the Steinerne Meer mountains. The view stretches far into the valley to Maria Alm and Dienten, the Hochkönig Massif and to the right across the entire Saalfelden Basin to Austria’s highest mountain – the Grossglockner.
And in the middle the crystal-clear Lake Zell, which always provides cool refreshment after an extensive hiking or bike tour in summer.
And yes, this is your personal mountain cinema which you can enjoy from this especially beautiful hut. The hut’s foundation stones and wooden beams date back to 1889. Here it seems that time stands still, and, surrounded by nature, you descend deeper into pure relaxation with every breath of clear alpine air.
The sun has left its marks on the quaint wooden beams and the stairs to the hut’s old front door across the small veranda creak with every step.

The owners of this alpine hut have renovated and in part modernised the hut with much dedication and love for detail, ready to welcome Almliesl guests:
- The bathroom, for example, offers all amenities of the 21st century and leaves nothing to be desired.
- The power is supplied by a photovoltaic system.
- The cosy, homely living room as well as the bedrooms know the long history of the old hut and give an inkling about farm life in bygone times.
A fence has been put up around the garden surrounding the hut. Cattle occasionally enjoys the wonderful grasses and herbs of the alpine meadows in front of the hut.
For your summer on an alpine pasture, you can access the vast hiking and mountain bike area of Saalfelden–Leogang and the Saalachtal High Route directly from the hut’s front door.
- A hiking tour to the Asitz is perfect for families.
- But the Biberg (mountain inn, 1 hour), with its summer toboggan run, also offers quite something for kids.
- Planning a tour of the Sausteige Peak (1,912 m) is a must for mountain fans.
Tip: Known for its regional specialities, the serviced Örgenbauernalm is only a 20-minute walk away. With this, there is no need for cooking on your holiday.
