Dear friends of the sophisticated alpine hut holiday, it will be almost impossible for you to decide against a holiday in the mountains when you see this hut.

And deciding against this alpine hut is very unlikely, considering the wonderful location of this holiday spot at the base of the Bernkogel, on a vast alpine meadow, between spruce and larch forests. The proud Noriker horses and the peacefully grazing cattle of the owners enjoy their freedom on the alpine pasture and create an almost corny scenery.

With a bit of luck, you will meet the alpine dairy farmwoman, who occasionally stays overnight in the adjacent alpine farmer’s hut to check on the animals. She knows the surroundings like the back of her hand and she might tell you about the most beautiful places of her alpine pasture.

This comfortable hut, with its natural wooden façade, boasts a view to the surrounding peaks, far across the Gastein Valley. Countless hiking and mountain bike tours start directly from the hut’s door. Timeout in the little sauna cabin relaxes tired muscles after an extensive tour in nature. The owners have built a small house chapel next to the hut for the occasional devotional moment. In the mountains, this was quite common in the past.

The children will be thrilled!

• hammock, canopy swing and a table tennis table.

With this entertainment programme - mobile phone, tablet & co. are quickly forgotten.
For all parents: Inflatable armbands for smaller kids should be a must. Water has a magical attraction!

The architecture and facilities – inside and outside - are of the highest quality and craftsmanship.

The Amoserniederalm is only 4 km away, belongs to the owners of your holiday hut and a visit is a must. The roast pork served at the inn is famous beyond the valley.
In winter, you can also book the Amoserniederalm (GAST-616) directly with Almliesl.
