About 40 km east of Innsbruck, it branches off as a wide valley and leads 47 km into the massive mountain landscape. At the end the Zillertal splits into various side valleys with fascinating mountain scenery . Here, the focus is on an original, nature-loving way of life with many traditions and culture .

The Gerlos Valley is famous for the Krimml Waterfalls. In the Stilluptal valley, a crystal-clear reservoir awaits you in the middle of the most beautiful alpine pasture area. A true paradise for connoisseurs, hikers and bikers. The mountaineering village of Ginzling: Located in the Zemmgrund valley at around 1,000 m, this is a paradise for climbers and an ideal starting point for hikes in the Zillertaler Alpen high mountain nature park.

Who doesn't know the famous Hintertux Glacier in the Tux Valley? Passing alpine villages, the Tux Valley ends after about 15 km at the glacier cable cars. Fun on the slopes is guaranteed here all year round!
