At "Dein Bett auf der Alm" (Your Bed in the Alps), your host will have everything ready for you: your bed will be made, a mountain breakfast and homemade delicacies will be served, a barbecue evening will be organized, and your mountain experience will be waiting for you.

Children love helping out at the farm - whether it's feeding the animals or doing chores in the barn. The dairymaid is happy to reveal the secrets of cheese-making, bread-baking, and bacon-smoking. Escape the stress of everyday life, even if it's just for a weekend.

Many a hut owner will accompany you on your journey and show you great hiking routes, magnificent summit ascents, fantastic panoramas and, with a little luck, the best places to look for mushrooms.

Berries and herbs gathered along the way find their way into the mountain menu. Everything tastes so much better at over 1,000 meters. Almliesl has collected some of the best hut recipes for you!

FAQs: Renting a managed alpine hut

Is catering included in the price?

No, you can order food on site as you wish and pay directly there.

Do I need to book meals in advance?

No, meals are only available à la carte.

Am I alone in the cabin?

No. There are day visitors and possibly other overnight guests. The host and some of the staff also stay overnight at the hut.

Will strangers be accommodated in my dormitory if I do not meet the maximum number of persons?

No. When you book a sleeping camp, it is prepared exclusively for you and your companions. No other guests will be sleeping in the camp.
