The Pustertal lies in the east of South Tyrol, stretching from east to west along the Rienz River between Brixen and Lienz. Most of it belongs to South Tyrol, with a small part in Austrian East Tyrol.

The neighboring Eisack Valley is one of the main valleys in South Tyrol. The three Eisack Valley towns of Brixen, Sterzing and Klausen have an eventful history that is waiting to be explored.

The Puster Valley is probably one of the most popular valleys in the Alps. It covers an area of 2,072 square kilometers and is located at an altitude of 700 to 1,600 meters above sea level. In the north, the foothills of the main Alpine ridge rise up , while the Dolomites spread out to the south .

The Eisack Valley boasts alpine charm and la dolce vita. Quiet, tranquil villages steeped in tradition lie nestled among vineyards, meadows, and forests. The region, with its alpine pastures and mountain huts, is renowned for its delicious South Tyrolean cuisine.

Puster Valley: From Marmolada to the Vinschgau Alps, Kronplatz offers a fantastic panorama. The alpine ecosystem features crystal-clear lakes that invite you to cool off. First and foremost is Lake Pragser Wildsee!

Eisack Valley: The biking region around the Plose, where single trails, enduro routes, and panoramic trails with rustic huts invite you to stop for a bite to eat. And if you prefer a more leisurely pace, you can explore the region by e-mountain bike.

Puster Valley: Not only are the kilometers of slopes and ski lifts appreciated, but also the excellent culinary offerings. Kronplatz is one of the largest ski areas in the Alps.
