Winter in Zell am See-Kaprun combines the impressive mountain scenery of the Kitzsteinhorn, which rises to over 3,000 metres, with the wintry views of Lake Zell. Whether on the snow-covered mountains or around the lake – the region offers a wide range of opportunities to experience the winter landscape and enjoy the special atmosphere of the cold season. This idyllic setting is home to the full spectrum of winter sports. Across three diverse ski areas: the Kitzsteinhorn, the Schmittenhöhe and the Maiskogel. The Ski Alpin Card plays a major new role here! With 121 lifts, it provides access to 408 kilometres of premium slopes, offers maximum variety – including glacier skiing – and is therefore the highlight of the Austrian ski season this coming winter.
