Serviced hut with bookable accommodation in the hut: approx. 40 m², on 2 floors, 1 bedroom with balcony, own bath with shower & toilet, small living room with fireplace and TV, washing machine for a fee, terrace and playground in the serviced area. Catering on request. Dogs are welcome (leash required!).

Location: Sunny mountain location in the head of the valley, in Kolm Saigurn

Arrival: Access is only possible with an off-road car. Parking is available on request at the "Lenzanger" car park. Walking time to the hut approx. 30 minutes. Mr Mayr will be happy to pick up Almliesl guests for a fee of Euro 20 per journey. Please note: Please arrange the pick-up time in good time, as there is no mobile phone reception at the car park on site!

Your excitement about your holiday increases with every kilometre on the route along the country road through the Rauris Valley. Let the beauty of the Hohe Tauern National Park inspire you as you pass rural, traditional districts of the municipality of Rauris, historical and cultural highlights such as gold mining or the sumpter trade in the Seidlwinkl Valley.
The route continues between:
- impressive glaciers,
- waterfalls and
- beauties of nature such as the Rauris Primeval Forest and the Rauris UrQuell original source in the Hüttwinkl Valley.
At the head of the valley in Kolm Saigurn, at the base of the Hohe Sonnblick, you already reach an altitude of 1,742 metres. Alpine life here is natural and authentic.
With creaking floorboards, old wooden beams and plenty of high-quality carpentry, the element wood dominates in this particularly beautiful alpine hut. The open fireplace crackles in the quaint lounge on colder days and creates a cosy atmosphere.
Between peacefully grazing cows and visits from timid wildlife or the famous marmots, the alpine summer happens in front of the hut’s door.

You will be warmly welcomed by the owners, the Mayr Family, at the hut’s door. For your holiday, you have your own private living areas, including an own living room with fireplace and TV in the hut.
