Enjoyment at an alpine hut in Gastein

Summer holidays can now finally be spent at this wonderful alpine hut, high above the Gastein Valley.
Until recently, this quaint alpine hut with a modern touch in country house style could only be booked in winter on a self-catering basis for up to 14 people. Almliesl guests enjoy the peace and quiet in a secluded location and the region's fantastic ski touring area. Have a look here: Almliesl GAST-616. Groups, families, or a party of friends of up to 10 people can also book the owners' second alpine hut in summer on a self-catering basis. Until recently, this jewel has welcomed only hikers and mountain bikers and served regional delicacies in summer. The owners still run this beautiful alpine hut of course, but you can also spend your nights there in a newly built apartment from now on.
Alpine breakfast & petting zoo
Children feel particularly at home on the alpine pasture. In addition to a high-quality playground and an exciting adventure hiking trail, cute bunnies and chickens are waiting to be petted by young guests.
You should definitely treat yourself to the alpine breakfast!

By the way: If you are interested, you should ask the owner about his homemade schnapps. That would also be a great souvenir to take home.
Modern apartment with style
With its alpine chic, the new holiday apartment fits in perfectly with the style of the hut. It has a separate external access to the attic. Wooden floorboards and cladding are typical of the region. The bathroom is modern and the cosy kitchen fulfils all wishes of any passionate cook. A spacious, covered balcony provides unique panoramic views of the Gastein mountains.
The rooms feature many roof slopes and solid wooden beams that serve as support. Caution is required in the bedroom. Here one of these beams crosses the room at eye level.
Summer holiday in Gastein
Countless hiking and mountain bike tours start right outside the hut door. After an extensive tour in nature, you can relax on the panorama terrace with a tasty snack. 600 km of hiking trails are waiting to be explored - in addition, the 240 m long suspension bridge and the famous thermal water with healing properties also score highly. Gastein has a variety of themed hiking trails. Informative, exciting, and action-packed themes such as power places, the Wild Mushroom Nature Trail, the Swiss Pine Magic on the Graukogel, the Trail of Sagas or the Schnapps Nature Trail are waiting here.
