3-room self-catering hut, approx 50 m², 1 bedroom and “Juchee” (attic room), deck chairs and sun shade available.

Location: In Gasteinertal before Hofgastein on the Breitenberg.

Arrival: The Biberheimalm is reached via an approx. 3 km long unsurfaced mountain road.

A feeling like being on an alpine pasture with Heidi and her granddad “Uncle Alp”. The Biberheimalm is an old hut of dark timber beams although the interior was renovated a few years ago. The “Juchee“ with a dormitory right under the roof is especially popular with children.
You are in the Gastein Valley on the Breitenberg Mountain just outside of Hofgastein. Surrounded by alpine pastures and fir trees is a protected alpine fold that offers a beautiful view to the surrounding mountain world. Life on an alpine pasture can be wonderfully enjoyed in the cosy rooms. On sunny days, you best start with a breakfast outdoors and a beautiful panoramic view.
The property is fenced in; thus, it is well protected from the very nosy cows on the alpine meadows. Children can play, pick flowers and admire the well without a care here.
Our tip: A hiking tour to the Schmaranz-Hochalm. This is the serviced alpine pasture of the hut owner. Here you can enjoy treats like organic products from the farm and homebrewed beer.
