Yes, holiday is at centre stage here. How else would one describe coming home to a cosy living room with the wood crackling in the stove? The wild mushrooms you just picked and the tasty berries are prepared on the wood-fired stove in the homely kitchen. An herb bed is waiting for hobby chefs in the garden. The wood-fired stove in the kitchen also provides cosy warmth in the entire hut.
Building the hut in 2013, the owners used a great amount of light, natural timber. The individual rooms have also been mainly furnished with wooden floors and wooden furniture. Bathroom and toilet are state-of-the-art, thus ensuring a holiday with the most important comforts.
This alpine hut, in secluded location, is the ideal starting point for extensive hiking tours. Mountain fans enjoy the view across the surrounding mountain world with the Mittagskogel or the Manlitzkogel. High up on the alpine pastures, this is a paradise for children. There is a sand pitch for making sand pies and there is nothing else but nature waiting to be explored.
The Bürgleralm is only 3 km away and can be reached by car. This alpine pasture is perfect for a culinary stop when you don’t fancy cooking.
Tip:Uttendorf - Weißsee region: The reservoirs and several three thousand metres high mountains in the high-alpine region around the Rudolfshütte are a delight. Gondola or legwork, you decide.
