Only you and your authentic experience count here. Promise! It doesn’t matter whether you are here for climbing summits, clocking up altitude metres or simply for lying between meadow herbs and listening to the noises of your animal neighbours.
Stepping out on the hut’s veranda in the early morning, holding a cup of hot coffee in your hand, listening to the cow bells in the distance and the gentle babbling of your own natural swimming pond - all you have to do is just one thing: Enjoy! Just as you like it. Meanwhile your eye wanders from the:
- Hochstubofen (2,385 m)
- to the Aarnfeldspitz (2,284 m)
- and the Haseneckscharte (2,205 m).

It meets all your expectations of a comfortable hut holiday.
Healthy Swiss pine timber dominates and the handicraft of a regional carpenter convinces with quality and an eye for detail. The use of nails has been avoided for good reason. The open-space kitchen-diner is fitted to a very high standard, including a cosy seating area and a wonderful wood-fired stove, and is the heart of the hut. The bathroom is of the most modern standard.
There are small, rustic neighbouring huts around your hut. They make the overall picture of the surroundings particularly idyllic. Two more of these huts can also be booked via Almliesl: Almliesl SOEK-713 and Almliesl SOEK-714.
- Feeding ponies,
- sending small sailing boats on a journey on the pond,
- picking mushrooms and berries or
- celebrating a summit experience for the entire family at the ”Deneck“ (2,433 m).
Dear Parents: Show your children what nature has to offer but don’t forget that water attracts also the youngest. We recommend an order to wear inflatable armbands around the clock ;).
TIP: The “Erzherzog Johann Hütte“ mountain inn is easily accessed within a short, leisurely walk (approx. 1 km). The Hansenalm is also known for its homemade products (approx. 3.5 km away).
