Active family holiday on a farm
Newly renovated in 2011, the detached side building is located directly at the owners‘ farm and is traditionally furnished in a style typical for the region. But it is also modern and features plenty of wooden elements. Being built at a slope, the house is not shared, the living area is on the first floor and the furnished garden is on ground level, offering a wonderful panoramic view.
Heart of the living area on the first floor is the living room with cosy tiled-stove as well as the well-equipped modern kitchen with quaint wood-fired stove and comfy seating area. The spacious terrace in front of the house with views into the valley invites to barbeques in cheerful atmosphere and romantic evenings.
Next door to the natural forces of the Saalachtal Valley. After an action-packed day in world-famous gorges, at high rope courses or around natural swimming lakes between forests and rocks, you will feel pampered and well looked after in this holiday home and on the owners’ farm.
The Loferer Alm ski resort is known for its family specials. “Small but beautiful“ is the motto. Many winter sports enthusiasts come here every year. Apart from skiing, other attractive facilities like toboggan runs, cross-country ski tracks and snowshoe hiking trails are also waiting here.
This place is just perfect for children. There is plenty of space for playing on the farm or in the garden. Little kittens and bunnies look forward to some cuddles and tasty snacks. The owners run a small serviced alpine hut with cattle from the farm. An excursion to this alpine pasture is a must for the holiday programme.
Tip: Almenwelt Lofer will be integrated in the tariff pool of the new 3 REGIONS LEISURE ARENA as of May 2017. The 3 Regions Leisure Arena is a ticket network operating between the ski resorts Waidring-Steinplatte, Reit im Winkl-Winklmoos, St. Jakob i.H. - St. Ulrich a.P, St. Johann Tirol-Oberndorf-Eichenhof, Kirchdorf in Tyrol, Erpfendorf-Lärchenhof, Almenwelt Lofer with St. Martin and Weißbach b. Lofer, Unken/Heutal. All 61 cable cars of those ski resorts with their 164 km of well-groomed pistes can be used with tickets valid from 3 days onward.
