Vacation in the middle of the ski area
This alpine hut at the piste is located at the base of the 2,100-m high Wildseeloder, approx. 200 m away from the Reckenmoos Lift, on a gentle slope – a dream for winter sports enthusiast in winter. The day in the Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn Ski Circus starts directly at the hut’s doorsteps. With 270 kilometres of pistes, 70 lift facilities, 60 ski huts, many snow parks, freeride parks, floodlit pistes, SkiMovie, speed and race tracks, fun-cross and snow trails, cross-country ski tracks and much more, this is the winter sports hotspot in the Austrian Alps.
The Wildseeloder is simply an allrounder mountain in summer. From the most beautiful mountain lake in the Alps to the family hit “Timoks Adventure“, the action-packed Timoks Coaster the tricky forest high rope course, the game enclosure, the flower trail and the ”Himmel und Henne“ via ferrata. The children will be delighted!
The hut is almost 100 years old and was renovated in summer 2009. Care has been taken to maintain old elements. Rustic details like the old masonry and the sunburnt wood as well as the antique everyday items from the olden days dominate the appearance. Crackling wood in the stove on cold days radiates warmth and a special hut flair. The first floor with the renovated bedrooms is reached via a narrow wooden staircase. Bright wood, new bathrooms and beds made of solid wood ensure relaxing hours in the evening.
