“Welcome to my alpine farm! I am Sigi and I welcome you at my hut.“
At Sigi’s, you enter a mountain world surrounded by vast alpine pastures, the smell of aromatic herbs and the gentle sound of the cow bells. Here you can relax!
Sigi says: “Simply move something from the to-do list to the who-cares list and enjoy life“!
On Sigi’s alpine farm you stay with friends. A picture-postcard alpine hut – small but very cosy. Here you will be treated to local specialities, including full board if you wish.
The breakfast alone, with high-quality, homemade organic products like cheese, bacon, bread and butter and many other delicacies, is worth coming here – whether on foot or by car. Best you enjoy the regional treats on the sunny terrace with fantastic view across Dienten and to the Hochkönig Mountains.

Hiking and biking paradise in the Schwarzenbachtal Valley
The old quaint hut with solid timber beams and colourful flower arrangements meets all expectations of a holiday on an alpine farm. Your bed in the double room or the dormitory awaits you after extensive excursions to the Ahornstein or the Klingelbergalm for example. The fresh clear mountain air is the best remedy for a good night’s sleep and relaxation.
Children experience nature
Especially children love their time on the alpine farm. Here they experience nature! Sigi looks forward to welcome the young visitors at the barn and is happy to share out some fresh milk. Around 30 cows spend the summer on 45 hectares of pastures with the best grass, thus guaranteeing incredibly good dairy products. There is a small pond nearby, and the icy cold well basin as well as the children’s playground are highlights for the kids. By the way: five farm goats and three sheep are waiting for regular tender loving care.
Tip: Hard to believe, but you can even play golf on the alpine pasture.
