Well informed on holiday in a cabin with a dog ---------------------------------------------- The Almliesl cabin owners & farmers love animals! They welcome your furry companion with open arms and want to provide you with a lovely break in their property. To avoid any surprises or uncertainties on site, we would like to present a few REQUESTS directly from the accommodation owners: ### 🐕‍đŸŠș #### PLEASE... Take the **leash requirement** seriously! Alpine pastures, meadows, and forests are not a free-running zone. This also applies around your cabin. In addition to hikers, children, grazing livestock & wild animals, you may also encounter hunters and foresters. Free-running dogs are strictly prohibited. ### đŸ’© #### PLEASE... Many dogs make **many “piles”**. Unfortunately, the Almliesl cabin owners have noticed that their guests are reluctant to pick up the “piles”. For the cows, the “topping” on their wonderful pastures & meadows is inedible. And what many do not know: dog faeces can cause miscarriages in grazing animals! Thank you for not forgetting the “bag for the poop”. ### đŸ›ïž #### PLEASE... Sometimes the love for dogs goes so far that even the bed is shared. Dear dog people, the house & cabin owners kindly ask you not to let the animals **jump on the bed**. Dirty paws, insects, or even ticks can be carried from the forest and meadow into the bed, resulting in a significant additional cleaning effort. ![A boy with his dog against a mountain backdrop in a flower-filled meadow whilst on a walking holiday.](https://www.almliesl.com/fileadmin/_processed_/8/b/csm_hund-almliesl-huettenurlaub-oesterreich-04_ee0851331c.jpg "Holidays with your dog") Dog vacations with heart and mind --------------------------------- Dog lovers know that their furry friends particularly enjoy running around in the countryside. To ensure an unspoiled vacation with your dog, it is important to remember that dogs must be kept on a leash. Some Almliesl huts are fenced in, but this does not prevent freedom-loving dogs from running away. Farm animals, grazing livestock, and wildlife must not be disturbed by dogs running free.
