The beauty of these waters is no mystery. In fact, it is the crystal-clear, ice-cold meltwater, which in early summer becomes up to 10 metres deep. The nature of the lake bed allows a visibility of up to 50 metres. Since 2015, using the lake is no longer possible. Swimming, boat trips, water sports or diving activities impair the sensitive qualities of this gem of nature.
