In the winter are no dogs allowed!

Thumersbach is part of Zell am See and is situated opposite at the eastern shore of Lake Zell. This village has become a lively place in recent years and is an insider tip for a holiday in the mountains.
This multi-party building with 3 apartments is in central location at the village square of Thumersbach. The fragrance of freshly baked goods from the ground floor fills the air in the morning. The Unterkofler Bakery provides this wonderful start to the day and beckons with a tasty breakfast from 6:30 am. Almliesl guests can access the bakery via a direct house entrance – thus, it is okay if you are not quite awake yet. If you don’t fancy cooking on your holiday, then you can get a tasty pizza next door or enjoy sophisticated cuisine at ”Speisenmeisterei“.
The apartments are extremely charming and furnished suitable for a holiday. Bright timber and modern tiled floors and friendly bright colours radiate a feel-good atmosphere. The bathrooms and sanitary areas in the rooms are new or renovated. The kitchen areas are equipped with all amenities and are the main rooms in the apartments.
Thumersbach is especially known to nature lovers and hikers because popular hiking tours to the Hundstein or the Schwalbenwand can be started from here. The Mitterberg is the local mountain of Thumersbach. The mountain is known for its famous panoramic view across Lake Zell to the Kitzsteinhorn, the Grossglockner and the Steinerne Meer.
The ski resorts of Zell am See-Kaprun and Saalbach Hinterglemm beckon in winter. Once frozen over, the lake becomes a meeting point for winter fans of all ages. Apart from ice skaters, you also encounter cross-country skiers or snow-kiters here. A very special winter highlight is the feeding of wild game. Guests and locals can observe stags and deer at close range during show feeding with an experienced professional hunter. The ski touring mountain, the Ronachkopf, was created as a unique ski touring project. It is one of the most innovative tourism projects in SalzburgerLand and now attracts ski touring fans to the region.
Crossing the lake in summer is an affordable and easy way to get to Zell am See. Restaurants, boutiques and romantic old-town flair are waiting to be explored.
