Location: In Nahendfeld, the hut in the highest location at the end of an Alpine valley

Arrival: About an 8 km long gravel road (barriers). For last 400 m are accessible only with an off-road vehicle. If necessary, the landlord will assist you with the luggage transport of the last 400 m.

High up in Zederhaus It's most beautiful at the top
If you want to get away from it all, this rustic alpine hut is just the place for you. It is beautifully situated at 1,740 metres above sea level in Lungau, in Salzburger Land, surrounded by unspoilt nature. Between colourful flowering alpine meadows, the whistles of the marmots, cowbells and the "mooing" of the cows, you know that you have come a whole lot closer to nature and can relax and unwind. The neighbouring barn is used by hunters.

The hut is largely made of wood and has been left in its original state.
- Kitchen-living room with cosy seating area and wood-burning stove (wood for heating is located in front of the hut)
- Drinks are best chilled in the cool box in the garden fountain
- "Solar garden shower" provides a refreshing cool-down
- Barbecue area for communal evenings in front of the hut
One step outside the hut door and you're right in the middle of it all
Surrounded by impressive scenery, you can enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains.
- Felskarspitze,
- Weisseck,
- Plankowitzspitze
- and the Mühlbachsee
...are all within a radius of just 1 to 2 hours' walk.
Tip: The Riedingtal is always worth a visit: the Schliereralm on Lake Schliersee. It is easy to reach by post bus (from the Riedingtal toll station) or by car. Numerous hikes start here. Not far from the inn is the Nature Park House, where visitors can find out about the facilities, nature, culture and events in the Riedingtal.
