Welcome to the heart of Tyrol in the Wildschönau, the jewel in the Kitzbühel Alps.  Here in Oberau, between blossoming fruit trees and cosy grazing cows, you will find the newly built chalet on the owners' farm. A charming mix has been created on the farm grounds, with the 400-year-old farm building with its sun-tanned façade and the modern chalet, which offers you every comfort during your holiday.

The high valley is truly a special place. The secluded location provides the peace and quiet you so deserve, yet you can still enjoy plenty of tradition and living culture in the surrounding idyllic villages such as Niederau, Oberau, Auffach and Thierbach. The extensive range of leisure activities on offer in the region ensures that you won't get bored in summer or winter - if you want to.

Charming, chic and surrounded by nature

Built in 2024, the chalet might seem a little understated at first glance. Due to its hillside location, the chalet appears small and elegant from the driveway, but at second glance it becomes clear that there is plenty of space for a wonderful holiday in the great outdoors. From the balcony you can look out over the fruit trees and fields into the Tyrolean mountains.

Summer in the Wildschönau - a paradise for nature lovers

In summer you can discover the breathtaking mountain world with over 300 km of hiking trails. Whether leisurely alpine hikes or challenging summit tours - there is something for everyone here. The owners recommend a hike to the serviced Archentalalm. Another excursion tip is the Zauberwinkl snack station, which offers hearty Tyrolean cuisine and a magnificent view. 
Mountain bikers and e-bikers can explore the region on the bike swing. You can actively explore nature on various routes. After an action-packed tour, the Wildschönau outdoor pool (2 km) invites you to take a refreshing dip.

Winter in the Wildschönau - a winter wonderland for young and old

In winter, the Wildschönau is transformed into a winter paradise:
The Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau ski area offers around 109 kilometres of pistes for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. You can access the ski area in Niederau at the Markbachjoch in just 2 kilometres. All pistes in the Skijuwel can be experienced with just one ski pass!

In addition to fun on the piste, there is much more to experience in winter:

• Tobogganing and snowshoeing: Discover the snow-covered landscapes away from the pistes. The area can be explored at your leisure on numerous winter hiking trails and toboggan runs.
• Cross-country skiing: The cross-country skiing network with various trails offers you the perfect opportunity to actively experience the tranquil winter landscape.
• Traditional Christmas markets: Immerse yourself in the wintry atmosphere with a visit to one of the region's Christmas markets and enjoy regional specialities.
