You’ll be overwhelmed by your first impressions and can then look forward to exploring your traditional holiday chalet. The owners themselves describe their small gem from 1935 as a charming place to retreat. It consists of solid walls and a stone facade, together with sun-seared shingle, and resists the influences of nature from its position on a sunny plateau. In summer, hikers and mountain bikers can enjoy the refreshing water in the well and reward their efforts with some home-made Carinthian delicacies on the sun terrace.
In summer you can book a double room or multi-bed room and receive full catering on request
You can reserve your stay for 1 night or your entire holiday. All you need is your backpack. You should definitely treat yourself to the popular, generous mountain breakfast. Start your hiking and bike tours directly from the chalet. The routes to the Steinkopf, Stoder or Gmeineck are particularly recommended.
The entire place is dedicated to family holidays. Trebesing is Europe’s number 1 baby village and is very close to Lake Millstatt, the Katschberg Mountain and the artists’ village Gmünd. A range of activities and institutions are focused on children and their needs. Your holiday accommodation also has a small playground and a sandpit.
Tip: Summer: Plan a visit to the Trebesing energy adventure hiking trail with one of the longest suspension bridges in the Alps.
