The newly built chalets follow the rules of romantic: seclusion, cosiness, lovely details and some luxury.
Everyday stress is quickly forgotten when you are surrounded by plenty of space and high-quality furniture made of fragrant wood. The owner is a passionate arts and craftsman. There is not a single item here which he has not made or fitted himself.
The kitchen is a gem. A fully equipped solid-wood fitted kitchen lets gourmet hearts beat faster. The living room with new flat screen TV, quaint tiled stove and a seating area in new rustic style oozes cosiness.
Attention, ladies! There is a modern bathroom with freestanding bathtub and walk-in wardrobe on the first floor. What more does a woman need?!
Every corner, every room contains special decoration and furnishings making the romantic chalets to something very special. Every chalet is different and has its own individual style.
The view from the balcony reaches far into the valley. But the famous Kreischberg ski resort is also within close sight. The terraces are spacious, furnished and a culinary platform for BBQ evenings, long breakfasts or just a glass of wine.
The highlight is the separate sauna hut which is available for the guests of the romantic chalets - pure relaxation after an action-packed day.
In summer, the hiking routes and bike tours start directly at the front door. The "Stolzalpe" – the local mountain – offers plenty to discover for explorers of all ages. The owner’s insider tip is the quaint alpine hut of his mother in-law. Almliesl’s own experience is that the “Sophie Hütte“ offers unsurpassable good traditional fare and plenty of hard liquors. Enjoyable hours with the sociable landlords are guaranteed. A holiday in the quaint hut next door can also be booked here (Almliesl RANT 539).
The Kreischberg Mountain! Latest since January 2015 is this mountain known to everyone because it was the venue of the Freestyle and Snowboard World Cup. The ski resort with 29 km of snow-reliable downhill runs is only 13 km away from the chalet.
Tip: Perfect for rainy days is a visit to Murau Castle. The castle contains museum collections of objects relating to royal property in Styria and Salzburg. Open to the public are the knights‘ hall, the Katzensaal (cats‘ hall), the display room, the Eisensaal (iron hall), the castle kitchen, the chapel and the dungeon. There are special guided tours for children.
