Hut holiday with first-class views

“The first impression counts“ – and that the first impression at the certified organic farm of Tina and Christian entirely convinces is guaranteed.

Once you have arrived at the lovingly maintained farm, you will feel what counts. The human being, the wellbeing, nature and your holiday. Apart from Tina and her family, the welcome committee includes a dog and chicken happy to provide an entertaining start to your holiday.

The farm, with your holiday hut and another alpine hut, is situated in an absolutely solitary location on the sunny side of Murau. The view from the old chairlift swing reaches far across the valley and straight to the Kreischberg – directly opposite.

Tina accompanies you to the quaint hut and introduces you to the history of this old Troadkasten which used to be a granary storehouse around 200 years ago, and therefore an important part of farming in the past.
The old hut was brought back to life with much of Christian’s skilled craftsmanship in 2003. Christian is passionate about woodworking.

  • Old farm tools decorate the sunburnt timber inside and on the facade of the hut.
  • Old ceiling beams,
  • plank flooring,
  • low ceilings,
  • door frames and doors of solid wood are typical for the region and radiate authentic, quaint charm.

A good night’s sleep between farm and mountain air is guaranteed!
The cosy bedrooms with solid-wood beds are accessed via a steep staircase to the first floor and a ladder leading to the second floor. The small typical peepholes with fantastic panoramic views are a popular photo subject.

Time for two at the romantic hut

The romantic living room is the heart of the hut. If the outside temperature makes it cosy inside, then a get-together with a glass of wine and a board game is just “So absolutely authentic!”.
Experience a wonderful time for two in the private hot tub by candlelight and beneath the starry sky.

Your morning coffee is best enjoyed on your veranda during the colourful sunrise. Then it’s off into nature! Tina is a qualified woodland nature study teacher and is looking forward to tell you interesting facts on the trend subject “forest”. A hearty BBQ in the garden is highly recommended afterwards because food tastes better after an excursion.

Feeling good at the ORGANIC farm

As an Almliesl guest, the choice is yours when it comes to winding down, detoxing and relaxation:

  • experience action live on the farm
  • the farm-own Grander vitalisation water
  • accompanied and guided nature and landscape tours
  • traditional European medical practice treatments
  • Tina‘s feel-good massages

Tina is a qualified seminar farmwoman. She knows everything about life on a farm, how to live an organic life and how to cook healthy and tasty food. She is happy to share her knowledge with you.

Fun on the piste at the Kreischberg in winter and family experience in summer

Finding out whether today is the perfect day on the piste is easy – just look outside. Because the famous Kreischberg, with 42 well-groomed kilometres of pistes for beginners and the advanced, is situated at the hillside directly opposite in the World Cup village of St. Georgen. If you prefer a more leisurely pace, then you can look forward to an extensive network of trails and tracks for cross-country skiers, ski tourers and snowshoe hikers.

A paradise for families!

Feeding chicken, stroking cats, helping with milking the cows in the barn – for children, there is nothing better than experiencing nature and discovering life on a farm. The entire farm yard area, including own children’s playground, leaves no time for boredom:

  • Trampoline
  • Swing, tree stand and slide
  • Sandpit and seesaw

Tip: There is a cool go-kart track at the Kreischberg – not just for kids. Experience real nostalgia on a ride with the steam engine of the Murtal Railway.
