The alpine hut was built 1930 and is situated in a stunning location on a hillside surrounded by the Aberg hiking area. The hut was used as serviced alpine pasture for many years. Surrounded by lush forests and meadows, here you can spend a relaxing holiday in the mountains and simply forget everyday life.
In 1984, the owners themselves added an entrance room, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a separate toilet to the hut. Because the owners have invested much effort and lifeblood in this little gem, the hut still radiates great splendour. The tiled stove in the cosy living room makes a hut holiday perfect. The kitchen offers a fantastic panoramic view to the mountain massif of the Steinerne Meer and to the Hochkönig.
Tip: Starting directly at the hut, it only takes a short hiking tour to reach the close by Wastalm. Once arrived, you can treat yourself to regional specialities. The hiking tour is family-friendly and only takes around 1 hour.
