The radius for the active vacation program is further extended by the proximity to the border with Tyrol and Bavaria. This is particularly exciting in winter, because with the 3 Länder Freizeit-Arena you can use six other ski areas in addition to the Almenwelt Lofer family ski area (2 km) with just one ski pass.

From your terrace, you have a panoramic view of the finest. Watch the hustle and bustle on the farm when the cattle are allowed out into the meadows or the children help feed the animals. The spacious vacation home is very bright and friendly, with lots of wood and all imaginable amenities. The country house style is modern and typical of the region.

Start your short or longer hikes directly at the farm, for example to Gasthaus Krepper (15-20 minutes' walk). Delicious regional delicacies also await you at the Loferer Alm (2.5 h).
Adrenaline junkies can throw themselves into the wild waters of canyoning or rafting. The "Base Camp" for the action is just a 10-minute walk away. 

Idyllic winter vacation in the countryside

Behind the farm there are the best toboggan hills for the kids. The toboggan is usually superfluous anyway, as the little ones run wild in the deep snow, take a running jump into the powder, build snowmen and make imprints of snow angels. This is a real, lasting winter vacation that creates memories.
In addition to the large and small ski resorts in the area, discovering new winter sports is a real added value. Snowshoeing, ski touring or working off energy on the extensive network of cross-country ski trails are just some of the alternatives. In Lofer there are also natural ice rinks as well as special experiences, such as feeding wild animals.

Culture and tradition are alive and well in the Salzburger Saalachtal

Lofer is rich in cultural events and traditional festivals. In summer, the Harvest Festival takes place regularly, where visitors can sample local delicacies and experience traditional music and dancing. The Advent market in winter is also a highlight and puts visitors in a pre-Christmas mood.

TIP: The historic Mozart city of Salzburg is just 40 km away. A good idea for a dose of art and culture when the weather isn't playing ball. Incidentally, Lofer was also popular with Wolferl, who liked to stop off in the village on his travels.
