Your summer between alpine pasture culture & epic biking fun

It is not surprising that hikers and nature lovers find their Mecca in the long Leogang Valley. The mountain massifs of the Leoganger Steinberge and the Kitzbühel Alps, as well as the gentle grassy mountains, offer an excursion programme full of contrasts. All mountain enthusiasts, big and small, are sure to get their money's worth here. The "Mountain of the Senses" with its soundtrack islands, the nature cinema or the super-cool Flying Fox XXL, for example, provide plenty of variety, especially for the kids.

Endless winter fun around the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn 

Just 100 metres from the front door, the ski bus takes you to almost endless fun on the slopes of the largest ski area in the province of Salzburg. Up to the Leoganger Asitz and into the Skicircus, that's pure freedom on 270 kilometres of pistes.

There is plenty of variety in addition to the pistes. 
Cross-country skiers in particular get their money's worth on the extensive, perfectly groomed network of trails in Saalfelden & Leogang. Start your tour right on the doorstep or head to neighbouring Hochfilzen. The world's biathlon elite meet here and the IBU World Cup has been a fixture of the race series for years. A fantastic spectacle in December! The snow-assured Hochfilzen is also an absolute paradise for cross-country skiing. The perfectly groomed slopes take you all the way to St. Ulrich am Pillersee. A wonderful experience away from the hustle and bustle of the slopes.

If you want to explore the winter landscape and the snow-covered mountains with care, it's best to put your skins on your touring skis and plan your tour between the relaxed Grasberge mountains or the challenging massifs of the Leoganger Steinberge or the Steinernes Meer. TIP: Here in Grießen, directly on the cycle path, there is a very special natural jewel. The Grießener Moor is one of the most valuable wetlands in western Austria, a biotope and breeding and feeding ground for many endangered bird species.
