With great attention to detail, they have partially renovated and modernised the 3 holiday flats in their separate apartment building. Now they are all spruced up with great furnishings.

It is not surprising that hikers and nature lovers find their Mecca in the long Leogang Valley. The mountain massifs of the Leoganger Steinberge and the Kitzbühel Alps, as well as the gentle grassy mountains, offer an excursion programme full of contrasts. All mountain enthusiasts, big and small, are sure to get their money's worth here. The "Mountain of the Senses" with its soundtrack islands, the nature cinema or the super-cool Flying Fox XXL, for example, provide plenty of variety, especially for the kids.

Here in Grießen, directly on the cycle path, there is a very special natural jewel. The Grießener Moor is one of the most valuable wetlands in western Austria. Its great importance and worthiness of protection is due to the fact that this biotope is the breeding and feeding ground of many highly endangered bird species.

Endless winter fun around the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn

Just 100 metres from the front door, the ski bus takes you to almost endless fun on the slopes of the largest ski area in the province of Salzburg. Up to the Leoganger Asitz and into the Skicircus, that's pure freedom on 270 kilometres of pistes.

There is plenty of variety on the pistes. 
Cross-country skiers in particular get their money's worth on the extensive, perfectly groomed network of trails in Saalfelden & Leogang. Start your tour right on the doorstep or head to neighbouring Hochfilzen. The world's biathlon elite meet here and the IBU World Cup has been a fixture of the race series for years. A fantastic spectacle in December!

If you want to explore the winter landscape and the snow-covered mountains with care, it's best to put your skins on your touring skis and plan your tour between the relaxed Grasberge mountains or the challenging massifs of the Leoganger Steinberge or the Steinernes Meer. The top priorities for your tours are good preparation and respect for the environment. Nature will thank you for it.

TIP: An exciting excursion awaits you in the show mine, one of the oldest mines in Salzburg. Silver, mercury, cobalt, copper, lead and nickel were mined from the 15th century onwards. It is now open to anyone interested in discovering the traces of the old miners.
