This holiday home is just made for families and friends who holiday together as a group. Your holiday domicile, in a sunny location of a small residential area, is situated close to the centre of Leogang. Supermarket, a baker’s and other shops can be reached within a few minutes‘ walk.
The rooms are furnished in part modern and in part in a quaint farmhouse style. The living atmosphere is cosy and the old farmhouse furniture is typical for the region. The furnished terrace is equipped with a barbeque. Children will feel especially happy here because the garden offers plenty of space for fun and play. The owners’ village shop with café offers culinary delights and can also provide food for the Almliesl guests on request. You can order your favourite products before your arrival. The culinary specialities will then be waiting for you in the holiday home.
From Fieberbrunn to Hinterglemm, from the sunny family button lift and the Nitro Snow Park to the black World Cup pistes - the Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn Ski Circus, Austria’s coolest ski resort, is big, vast and diverse and offers 270 kilometres of well-groomed pistes. The access to the skiing pleasure is only 3.5 km away from the holiday home. Anyone who prefers a quieter holiday can access the network of cross-country ski tracks in Leogang only one kilometre away from the chalet. Almliesl recommends an excursion to the Tyrolean Hochfilzen, the Mecca of cross-country ski fans.
The area around Leogang is known as one of Austria’s largest and most popular hiking regions. Between rugged limestone giants – the Steinerne Meer and the Leogang Steinberge Mountains - and gentle grass hills stretches a network of over 400 kilometres of well-maintained hiking trails. Mountain bikers and downhill fans will also get what their heart desires. The bike park in Leogang attracts the world’s elite, and single trail fans use the cable cars to Saalbach Hinterglemm.
Tip: Nerves of steel are required here! As one of the world’s longest and most spectacular steel rope slides, the Flying Fox XXL at the Asitz guarantees an experience with a thrill. Suspended on a steel rope 1,600 metres above the Leogang mountain world, you enjoy a flight at a speed of up to 130 km/h.
