Holiday in the Valley of the Alpine Pastures

This holiday home, renovated in 2015, is situated in a quiet and sunny location at the head of the Grossarltal Valley in Hüttschlag. The stunning view to the surrounding mountain world of Salzburger Sportwelt Amade invites to stay a while and relax in harmony with nature.

Four bedrooms and two bathrooms guarantee plenty of privacy. Old rustic furniture and traditional furnishings radiate a nostalgic atmosphere. The individual rooms have mainly been furnished with wooden floors and wooden furniture. A green hedge surrounds the house, providing a natural privacy shield. This holiday domicile is perfect for children; a large house-own garden is available. The playground of the owner’s inn (Talwirt) next door can also be explored. A large sand pit, a swing, a small pond and a slide are waiting here.

Because of the many serviced huts, the valley is also called “Valley of the Alpine Pastures“. The Grossarltal Valley is also a popular hiking area for leisurely family hiking tours and high alpine tours alike – here is something for everyone. We also recommend a visit to the National Park Museum which is located on the site of the Talwirt.

The ski bus stop is only 100 m away, thus there is no need for a car. The Grossarltal Valley is a unique family ski resort, which is also connected to the "Ski amadé" ski resort. Discover 760 kilometres of pistes with just one ski pass. But the house is also a perfect starting point for ski tours and there is a cross-country ski track running directly along the house.

Tip: The Talwirt inn is just opposite. Excellent local cuisine from vegetarian to game is served here.
