On discovery tour at the sun plateau
Initially called a “hunter’s lodge“, this quaint alpine hut is situated in Hollersbach, one of the region’s most beautiful hiking areas in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Situated in a quiet location, surrounded by meadows and directly at the edge of the forest, this holiday home is perfect for romantics. Impressive sunsets can be experienced on the small terrace and a glass of good wine can be enjoyed at the hunter’s table.
If there is not just time for two, then there is an additional “sleeping hut“ with separate ”earth closet” – a highlight for some- next door to the holiday home. Thus, a family holiday or time with friends is also possible.
The vast meadow, where this self-catering hut is located, is adjacent to the garden of an inn with swimming pond and playground. You are welcome to use the swimming pond with its beautiful sunbathing lawn. Here you enjoy a wonderful view to the mountains like the Rettenstein, the Pihapper and the Großvenediger.
Starting in Hollersbach, a new dimension of the ski safari can be enjoyed as a winter highlight. The tour leads to the Kitzbühel Streif and there is no need for taking your skis off. A special highlight is a ride on the three-rope continuous lift in 400 metres above sea level.
The location of this holiday home is also ideal for all alternative winter sports like winter and snowshoe hiking, cross-country skiing and ski touring.
Tip: A visit to National Park Worlds in Mittersill is a great alternative on days when the weather is not so nice.
