Michaela and Dominik are the heart and soul of this beautiful alpine pasture, above the Great Ahornboden near the Engalm. The Great Ahornboden is a special place and has been a natural monument in Karwendel since 1927. The high plateau is surrounded by mountain ranges about 2,500 m high and is covered with ancient maple trees. Many of them are over 600 years old and provide habitats for special flora and fauna.

Start your fantastic hiking and mountain biking trips directly from your cabin door, for example to Hahnkampl (about 2 hours) or to Sonnjoch (about 4 hours). The best information and tips you will get from Dominik. The cabin owner is a true local and is "Always up for a chat." Michaela ensures a cozy atmosphere in her alpine hut. 

Whether at the open fireplace in the rustic cozy parlor or in the hot pot with panoramic cinema, she emphasizes enjoyment and coziness and is always particularly happy when her guests show interest in life at the alpine pasture.
