This comfortable alpine hut is the best place to spend your holiday in the Gastein hiking region in the most active way.
Enjoy the most precious time of the year at a hut on a working alpine dairy farm. This hut, with all its highlights, has been made available to Almliesl guests for just a few months in summer. The owners have set out to make this spot of land the most beautiful in the region.

Children love this place full of magic and action

Doing without TV and internet is easy here. Children experience here how much fun they can have in nature. The owners of the hut have come up with a few ideas. Fun on the swing is guaranteed, and the ground-level giant trampoline and the hut's own fish pond make the wonderful holiday time just fly by. The large relaxation lounger is placed in such a way that you can watch the stars perfectly in the late evening. The feeling of being so close to the stars is truly magical.

Hut happiness for the whole family

Three flights of stairs lead up to the panorama veranda with its cosy seating area. It's a great place to enjoy a late riser's breakfast. The living room and the bedrooms are new, cosy, and furnished in a beautiful country house style. A fully equipped solid wood kitchen with a quaint wood-burning stove, a large dining table and seating area will convince gourmet chefs and kitchen gods and goddesses. High-quality carpentry can be found in all rooms, and the scent of wood ensures a healthy good night’s sleep.

Hikers, mountain bikers & fans of good cuisine - start your day in the Gastein mountains right from your doorstep. 600 km of hiking trails are waiting to be explored - in addition, a 240 m long suspension bridge and the famous healing thermal water also score highly.

A family-friendly hike to start with leads to the "Rauchkögerl", for example, while a slightly more challenging tour takes you to the Bernkogel. For fans of good cuisine, we recommend the nearby (2 km), serviced Almliesl hut "Amoser Niederalm". Regional delicacies also await you at the Heinrichalm, taking around 1.5 h of walking.
