Kufstein

The district of Kufstein, in Tyrol, consists mostly of the lowest part of the Unterinn valley and borders on Bavaria to the north and the districts of Kitzbühel and Schwaz in the south. The largest and best known towns here are the fortress town of Kufstein itself and Wörgl.

The holiday resort of Kufstein, the Thierseetal, Alpachtal and Brandenberger valleys and the municipality of Wildschönau are the most popular holiday destinations in this region.
