Summer holidays in Carinthia

Carinthia, a lust for life, with summer festivals, quiet bays, hiking and biking tours with wonderful views, nature to enjoy in all its fullness. A wealth of warm bathing lakes of drinking quality water, in the middle of the Alps. Mountains ranging from the powerful 3000 m giants through to the gentle Nocken hills, all with fantastic views to enjoy. This is Carinthia, the southernmost province of Austria, with a unique diversity to offer.

The National Park region of Heiligenblut - East Tyrol / Lienz is the urban centre of Upper Carinthia. This well-known region is situated in the region housing the Oberen Drautal and Iseltal valleys, the Pusterrtal  and the Mölltal valley. The holiday resort of Mörtschach is located at 950 m above sea level in the upper Mölltal valley at the western end of Carinthia, nestled between the Großglockner massif, the Lienz Dolomites, and the Schober and Kreuzeck mountains, and contains an appreciable area of the Hohe Tauern National Park.

... Spittal is worth a visit!

Spittal is perfect for holidays both in summer and winter, but also spring with its beautiful flowers and “golden autumn” are wonderful times to enjoy a peaceful holiday. Its position south of the main Alpine ridge guarantees more sun, milder temperatures, and fewer foggy days….
