Fabulous holidays! Pure romance, the combination of lakes, mountains and altitude. Fish in the alpine lake (fisher's licence required). You can reach the lake 'Untersee' at 1.900 m after approx. 45 minute walk. Fishing is also possible in the 'Mittersee' lake at 2.100 m (a further 40 minute walk). You could possibly catch brook char fish or some speckled trout. The necessary fishing passes can be obtained from the Austrian Forestry Association in Hopfgarten.

For those who don't just prefer fishing, you can enter the beautiful walking area eg.: to the Schafsiedel 2.447 m or across the three wonderful alpine lakes to the Salzachgeier 2.447 m, Kröndlhorn 2.444 m and to the Tristkopf mountain.

Access: Approx. 2 hours walk to the lodge, for your luggage can be organised a transport with the private cablear (for payment). Arrival with car is not possible.
